Your Local Bathroom Remodeling Experts in Turtle Bay
If you're in Turtle Bay and need bathroom remodeling, Prime Restoration & Construction is your local expert. We've been serving Manhattan County and the surrounding areas for over 25 years, and our crews know Turtle Bay properties inside and out.
Manhattan's co-ops, condos, and pre-war walk-ups present a different set of challenges than a typical single-family home — shared walls, tight service elevators, building management approval, and strict co-op board requirements shape how restoration and renovation work gets done. Many buildings are decades or even a century old, with original plumbing and plaster walls that require specialized techniques. We coordinate directly with building management and boards, work within service elevator windows, and bring the documentation co-op and condo boards typically require before any work begins.
When you call Prime, you get a team that understands the specific challenges facing Turtle Bay homeowners. We're licensed, insured, and available 24/7 for emergencies. Call us at 631-922-9900 or request a free quote online.

What Our Manhattan County Clients Say
“Our pre-war bathroom needed a complete gut. Prime understood the building's quirks, handled the co-op board approval, and built us a stunning modern bathroom that still fits the character of the building. Highly recommend.”

Our Process
How Bathroom Remodeling Works in Turtle Bay
Design & Material Selection
We meet in your home to measure, discuss your vision, and review tile, fixture, vanity, and finish options. Our designer creates a layout and 3D rendering, and we finalize all selections before construction begins.
Construction & Waterproofing
After demolition, we run new plumbing and electrical, then install proper waterproofing — a critical step many contractors skip. Tile installation follows, then cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and glass.
Final Walk-Through
We test every fixture, check all seals, clean thoroughly, and walk through the finished bathroom with you. All work is warrantied against leaks and defects.
FAQ
Bathroom Remodeling Questions in Turtle Bay
Bathroom remodels on Long Island typically range from $12,000 for a standard update (new vanity, toilet, tile, and fixtures in the same layout) to $40,000+ for a luxury bathroom with layout changes, custom tile, frameless glass shower, and premium fixtures. We provide an itemized quote after design so you control every dollar.
A standard bathroom remodel takes 2-3 weeks. A large or master bathroom with layout changes, custom tile work, and a walk-in shower can take 4-6 weeks. We provide a detailed schedule upfront and keep you updated daily on progress.
Waterproofing. A beautiful bathroom that leaks will destroy your subfloor, walls, and ceilings below. We use proper waterproofing membranes (not just water-resistant backer board) behind every shower and wet wall, and we slope shower floors correctly for drainage. This is where 25+ years of experience matters — shortcuts here cost you later.
